Our client is an international specialist in the design, construction and installation of large scale sea water and brackish water desalination plants in many areas of the world.

They are now about to undertake a new project in UAE, contract value approx. US$12M, and are looking to engage a suitably experienced Project Manager to head up their project team.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Technical and Commercial Management of the complete EPC contract, including Electro-Mechanical installation. * Liaison with the Client, Sub-Contractor, Suppliers.

Management and guidance of staff ( Design, Engineering, Procurement, Process dept's, etc. )

Co ordinate Project Planning (MS Project) with the Design Department.

Prepare and present Monthly Reports to client and company management (completion status, costs status, staff status, etc.)

Candidate requirements:

Engineering degree or appropriate qualification.

Proven track record in similar type position, preferably gained in Middle East.

Extensive knowledge of desalination process and plant.

Ability to manage multi discipline, multi cultural personnel.

Package:

Highly competitive salary, negotiable based on qualification & experience.

Location : UAE.

Duration : Minimum 12 months + Opportunity for transfer to other projects.

Expected commencement : ASAP.

Benefits:

Work week : 9 hour day x 5 days per week; Paid Holidays : Annual 30 calendar days + local.

Accommodation : monthly allowance.

Transport : monthly allowance + petrol.
