Senior Structural Consulting Engineers x 2 - Ref: Q846

Dubai & Abu Dhabi

Our client is a forward thinking firm of Consulting Engineers engaged on numerous high profile public and private sector projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, for which they are delivering civil, structural and environmental designs.

As an integral part of their business expansion plans they now require two Senior Structural Consultant Engineers who will be based in UAE and will be responsible for leading their design and projects teams. This position offers the post holders the opportunity to develop and grow the UAE offices into self sufficient business units, with the ultimate reward of promotion to senior management status within the company.

Ideal candidates will,

- Be a competent and experienced graduate Structural / Civil Engineer, preferably Chartered or PE status, with extensive experience of Buildings and Structures.

- Have a proven track record in a similar type capacity on high profile design and development projects.

- Have comprehensive knowledge and experience of applying International Standards and Codes of Practice to work undertaken.

- Be familiar with Local / Regional Building Regulations and Procedures and have experience of dealing with the appropriate Government Departments.

- Be highly capable of ensuring compliance with design requirements and specifications, costs control, certification of works cost, programme monitoring.

- Be health and safety conscious, with sound knowledge of construction procedures and capable of applying to both practical and administrative functions.

- Be a team player with good communication skills, adaptable, hard working, determined and self -motivated.

- Current or previous work experience in UAE / Middle East.
