Responsibility: Initially participate in FEED, development of construction strategy and procedures, constructability reviews, logistics, planning, and sub contractor selection. Then follow project to site, or alternatively remain in HO, undertaking regular visits.
Experience: Managing multi-disciplinary teams / contractors on the overall site activities; full familiarity with contract requirements, and ensure company policy and procedures on the project are implemented.
Almost certainly with a background in petrochemical or refinery (preferably) or oil and gas, in a major EPC contractor organisation, and proven ability to take responsibility for projects in demanding and often remote locations.
Qualifications: Also, likely possess an HNC minimum, or recognised equivalent - or commensurate direct experience.

Experience: Fully conversant with Project Management Systems with extensive knowledge of Project Hook Up / Construction / Commissioning practices and procedures; Conversant with project tender/estimating process; Accident / Incident Investigation.
Qualifications: Recognised O&G discipline background, ideally Degree educated in an related Engineering subject / NVQ level 4 or 5 in Management and conversant with TRM process.
IT Literate (Excel / Word / Powerpoint etc) with experience in Completions Management Databases; BOSIET / Approved Offshore Medical - essential for an offshore role.

For a major Oil Company offering the following long term (contract) job opportunity.
Responsibility: The job is twofold, covering the Operations and the Reservoir Geology.
Operations, which has the higher priority includes: - Contribution in data quality control logs and cores if requested. - Participation in new locations proposals (within the field team) based on models. - Take care of the redaction of the geological part in drilling prognoses (can be done by junior geologist), including propose and justify data acquisition.
Reservoir Geology, which is organized in Field Teams. - Participate to the life of the team; the senior is in charge of one (or more) field and/or activity (like sedimentology or petrophysics). - Suggests and propose, evaluate and insert the new geological results in the static model. - Contribute to the understanding of the static model and to the dynamics of the fluid flows.
Experience requirements: - 10-15 years work experience on several oil fields, probably in different Companies and environments. - Experience of rig site geology. - Some experience in a multi-cultural human and technical environment and skills to adapt to such situations - Ability to coach others, together with good communication skills to effectively function in multi-cultural environment and multi-disciplinary teams.
Academic requirements: - Master degree in Geology; minimum 4 years University. - Advanced education in petroleum geology is a plus (IFP, ISE,… - A good or at least some knowledge in all the subjects of sedimentology, structural geology, petrophysics, geological modeling, production mechanisms, EOR … - Ideally some experience of Eclipse and history matching or at least must know the principles and the mechanisms of dynamic modeling. - Computer literacy: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word at the minimum, log interpretation softwares (Geoframe, IP ...), reservoir modeling softwares, Petrel and/or Irap. - Good spoken and written English.
