Hook Up & Commissioning Manager - Ref: COM-M1

Our Client is providing project management, engineering and other resources necessary to produce the FEED for a large Semi-submersible Gas Production Facility, a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading facility (FPSO), Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (URF), and a gas export pipeline for a major highly prestigious offshore gas field development.

 

Operating from Head Office, you will manage and lead hook up & commissioning teams on this major offshore greenfield development. You must have extensive experience in facilities commissioning in the offshore oil and gas industry acquired on major global projects.

 

· The principal task is to develop a project commissioning strategy document for this major offshore gas field development, comprise a arge semi submersible gas and condensate production rig, FPSO for condensate handling, storage and offloading, subsea wells and in-field flow lines and a 42" gas export pipeline.

 

· This will include producing a fully integrated commissioning strategy during FEED, and developing the commissioning strategy in a timely manner for inclusion into ITT bid packages for EPC contracts.

 

· Applicants must have experience as a Commissioning Manager on major offshore projects both during onshore and offshore phases of projects; experience of hook up together with experience offshore oil and gas industry.

 

· Must also have the ability to prepare and write commissioning strategy docs and be totally familiar with completions and commissioning management systems. The ideal candidate would also have experience of Far East fabrication yards.

 

You will have formal qualification in engineering discipline preferably instruments and controls (or process) to ONC standard as a minimum and fully trained in all aspects of safety management of commissioning

 

Furthermore there is the opportunity to take up the commissioning management role during the execution phase of the highly prestigious project.

Senior Commissioning Engineer - Ref: COM-E1

Our Client is providing project management, engineering and other resources necessary to produce the FEED for a large Semi-submersible Gas Production Facility, a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading facility (FPSO), Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (URF), and a gas export pipeline for a major highly prestigious offshore gas field development.

 

Prime responsibilities:

The safe and timely preparation and execution of the project multi-discipline commissioning work scope, in adherence with project HSEQ safety targets, procedures and practices.

Ensuring all multi-discipline commissioning workscope is carried out in accordance with project commissioning specifications, standards and procedures.

 

Developing the project commissioning strategy and approving commissioning procedures and ensuring all commissioning workscope is carried out in accordance with project schedules and budget.

 

Essential experience:

• Proven background of delivery, combined with strong multidiscipline experience in O&G system commissioning, start-up and operations.

 

• Recognised O&G process commissioning background, including systems commissioning and testing and familiarity with process equipment, start-up and operation.

 

• Planning and coordinating system commissioning activities, running multidiscipline HAZOP's / Risk assessment reviews and managing system commissioning personnel / team.

 

• Extensive knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices / procedures.

Qualifications & Training:

 

Minimum HNC in suitable Engineering subject, IT Literate (Excel / Word / Powerpoint etc) and BOSIET / Medical.

 

Ideally also with Task Risk Management Trained, conversant with Project Management Systems and PTW Senior Authorised accreditation. A background in the offshore sector desirable.

 

Other considerations:

 

Suitable applicants will be UK/EU citizens with a base in the UK, or currently in possession of a work permit to work in the UK, and ideally background or previous work experience in Australia.

 

Alternatively Australian nationals with parentage which allows working in the UK.
