Senior Process Engineer/ Technical Advisor - Contract/ Staff - Ref: Q 818

You will be site based to work on a Refinery and perform tasks such as process monitoring, trouble shooting, optimising the operation, and identifying opportunities for improvement. With extensive (15 years plus) experience in process operations working in a petroleum refinery environment, you should be very familiar with specific operating units such as Crude Unit , Hydrotreater, Catalytic Reformer, Light Ends Recovery , Plant Utilities and Tank Farm operations. You should also be able to assist in equipment inspection during plant turnarounds.

You must be experienced in the use of personal computers and software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point) and in the use of process simulation programs (e.g. HYSYS). A background in process design and projects will be useful but is secondary requirement.

This is a long term requirement, on 40 days on/25 days off rotation, working 7 days at 10 hours per day. Salary Gross remuneration is paid free of Libyan tax to your nominated account. There is also a Living Allowance to cover food and accommodation. Flights and medical are also provided by the Client.

Location: Site, Libya - 40/25 rotation.
